Tiger Fall, Chakrata, Dehradun
Tiger fall is way far away from the crowd of Dehradun and that is the reason behind the beauty and greenery of the place. It is considered as the highest straight waterfall of india. Tiger fall is a magnificent location with the waterfall in the mountains. In the outskirts of Dehradun completely away from commercialization, the place is the main attraction for the trekkers and explorers for picnic. The beauty of nature is incomparable here with the huge waterfall makes the place worth visiting for everyone. By the natives the place is also known as Keraao Pachad and Kailu Pachad.
Tourists can enjoy the refreshing 50 ft waterfall which forms a small but nice pond encircled by huge mountains and noise of floating water between the hills. For trekkers the track is easy and hardly of 5km. The track starts from chakrata taxi stand and the route if full of sightseeing and natural beauty. In winters this area is often covered with snow.

India's highest straight waterfall makes Tiger fall popular among all the explorers and travelers. The beauty of this place is unique and hard to find at any other place. Many tourists from different states can be seen in this destination and this proves that Tiger fall is quite popular. 50ft waterfall with the high pressure water always flow from the mountain and the sound of waterfall can be heard easily while approaching the destination. snowfall is very common here.
Location and route of Tiger waterfall, Chakrata
There are two roads to approach the destination. Travelers can take a shot 5 km track from the Chakrata taxi stand which is not hard instead the rout is too mesmerizing and heart whelming. The spot is around 106 Km away from the clock tower Dehradun and 105 Km away from Dehradun Railway Station. Route is quite easy to reach the destination as well as the valley looks not less than haven. The mountains, the sky, the rivers, the greenery everything takes you close to the nature and convince you to stop and take pictures. In winters snowfall is common here.

As I live in Dehradun, it is really easy for me go and visit Tiger Fall. I have visited the place thrice and still in the mood to visit it again. Chakrata is full of natural beauty and there are lots of other tourist destinations where one can visit except Tiger fall like Kalsi. So, it is not only a single tourist destination but also offers you many other spots to visit. Well the destination is amazing but the route's view will add many more stars to your trip
