Lacchiwal is main attraction among children, family and adults. This place is surrounded by Sal trees, providing tourists relaxing arrangement and enjoyable setting. Guests can also enjoy bath in waterpool and have snacks from canteens. Many pools are arranged their on Suswa river steam. Now the place is also known as Nature Park and many improvements have been made in recent years. Various fountains and sculptures have been made in the reconstruction here to increase the volume of tourists and the investment proved itself fruitful. 

Before visiting cars, bags, and vehicles are checked thoroughly to avoid any illegal practices. The area is beautiful and well managed. The best thing to visit is where you have to pay extra for swings and other sports activities, here in Lacchiwala nature park most of them are included in the Entry charges i.e 60 Rs.

There are small bridges on the river which looks too amazing and the restaurants serves delicious food which you can have after the play and bath into the water. Moreover, there is a Museum which showcase the tradition and culture of Uttrakhand. The area is well managed are clean. 

Timing for fountain show in Lacchiwala is 7 pm onward but timing changes very oftern.

Can we swim in Lacchiwala Dehradun ?

yes, but the water is only waist level so be aware of the fact and don't expect a lot of depth in river. There are several man made pools on the river and you can enjoy the bath in the water coming right from the steam.
